TECHNOLOGY
Light emitting diodes, more commonly known as "LED", represent
the cutting edge of lighting technology, LED lights operate on a
totally different concept than traditional incandescent or bulb
style lights. Instead of using a brittle metal filament that is
susceptible to road shock and vibration. LED's are solid-state devices
(i.e., no moving parts) utilizing an electronic chip that is encapsulated
in an epoxy substrate. This design provides increased durability
and a protective seal from road elements like dirt moisture and
other corrosive agents.

Improved safety may be LED's most important benefit. LED light provides
instantaneous and brighter illumination compared to incandescent bulbs.
This makes your vehicle more visible to other vehicles during lane
changes and emergency stopping situations. In fact studies have shown

provide an extra 24' of stopping distance at 60 mph*

Because they are very energy efficient, LED lights consume less
power..... up to 90% less power than incandescent bulbs. This reduces
the load on your tow vehicle's electrical system including the battery
and alternator. Extended battery life and improved fuel mileage
are direct money saving benefits.

MONTHS vs. 22 YEARS
In today's market, most incandescent lights are rated for 3,000
hours as compared to 100,000 hours for LED lights. Consider this
real world comparison. If an incandescent light was "on"
for 12 hours a day 7 days a week, it would need to be replaced after
8 short months. Under the same circumstances, the LED light would
last 22 years before needing a replacement. You would replace 33
incandescent bulbs before you would replace just 1 LED light.
